On February 5, 2005 BUCKTOWN KICKBACK hosted a release concert for their debut LP “Speakeasy” at the Columbus Music Hall in Columbus, OH. The rest – as they say – is history. Upon release to good reviews and regional acclaim the band was propelled on a whirlwind tour from local clubs to national stages. Teaming up with Atlanta based Shut Eye Records, “Speakeasy” landed plays on independent radio stations across the United States and Europe helping break the band’s debut into the AMA Charts – Radio Play Top 100 for multiple weeks. This is a video slideshow produced by Whirled Werks Music to commemorate the anniversary of the release date for this excellent collection of original songs recorded by a stellar band on the rise.
